    NOTICE - Tropical Storm Nate Update and Information   10/6/2017

    October 6, 2017 - NOTICE - City Officials urge residents to please take the proper storm precautions and secure loose debris, lawn furniture etc. As of now, there is no mandatory evacuation or curfew. Residents with questions can call the Emergency Operations Center tomorrow morning at 8:00 am. The phone numbers are 228.818.4438 and 228.875.4236. The local shelters will open at 8:00 am tomorrow morning. There is have a Pet Shelter available next to the Vancleave 361 Shelter.

    September 27, 2017 - NOTICE - Cruisin’ the Coast is returning to Ocean Springs October 5-7. The coast-wide event will be from October 1-8. Certain streets will be closed from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm on Thursday, 7:00 am – 9:00 pm on Friday, and from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm on Saturday.

    NOTICE - September 26 Water Outage and Boil Water Notice - Shannon/Ridgewood Area   9/22/2017

    September 22, 2017 - NOTICE - On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, there will be a water outage for the Shannon/Ridgewood area of Ocean Springs, barring any unforeseen circumstances. The purpose of this water outage is to replace a fire hydrant. Because water pressure will be lost, you should boil your water vigorously for 1 full minute before consumption until you receive written notice that the Boil Water Notice has been lifted.
