OS Public Works Paves Way for Improved Parking for Bridge Walkers

Ocean Springs, MS – The Mississippi Coast’s most popular exercise venue, the Biloxi Bay Bridge, will soon see upgrades for Ocean Springs walkers with a 25 ft. x 400 ft. paved parking surface along Porter Avenue from the Beach Mini-Mart to Front Beach. Construction for the parking lot is expected to begin Monday, June 29.

City officials obtained right of way from MDOT and Admiralty property developers for the new parking area. Work is expected to be complete and ready for use by area citizens in early July.
