OS Parks & Leisure Summer Camp Sets Registration Date
Ocean Springs, MS – Summer camp registration for children ages 5 – 12 will begin March 22 for children who are currently enrolled in the city’s Parks & Leisure After School Care Program or were attendants of the 2009 summer camp. April 5 is the registration date for children new to the program. Space is limited, so parents should arrive early for registration. Both registrations will be held at the Parks & Leisure Building, 400 Alice Street, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The registration fee per child is $20. Weekly camp fees are $65 for one child; $120 a week for two children and $185 per week for three children. There is a onetime field trip fee of $85. The summer camp program begins June 1 and runs through July 30th, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. The camp features field trips to area attractions, arts and crafts, and outdoor recreation.
