OS Parks & Leisure Offers Football, Cheerleading Registrations
Ocean Springs, MS – The City of Ocean Springs – Parks & Leisure Services will offer two days for football, flag football, and cheerleading registrations on August 1 and August 8, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Parks & Leisure Building, 400 Alice Street.
The cost to participate in football is $85; $55 for flag football, and $80 for cheerleading. Children will play as the age they are on September 1, 2009.
Anyone interested in coaching football, flag football, or cheerleading must fill out an application at the Parks & Leisure Building or online at http://ci.ocean-springs.ms.us/parks-leisure. All coaching candidates must be certified by the National Youth Sports Coaching Association.
