OS Kayak Festival Set for June 26th at Fort Maurepas Park
Ocean Springs, MS – The City of Ocean Springs and South Coast Paddling Company are sponsoring a fun-filled family day of live music, food and water kayaking at Fort Maurepas Park on Front Beach, Saturday, June 26th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The event is free to the public and features free use of kayaks of scheduled activities on a first come, first serve basis.
Scheduled activities for the day include: Koffee & Kayaks: Intro to Kayaking from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.; formal kayak lesson from 10:00 a.m. – noon; a kayak race from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., and kayak tours from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
