MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN
CITY OF OCEAN SPRINGS
SPECIAL CALL MEETING SEPTEMBER 6, 2006
Be it remembered that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ocean Springs met in a Special Call Meeting at City Hall in the City of Ocean Springs at 5:30 p.m. on September 6, 2006. Mayor Moran presiding, Aldermen Gill, Lloyd, Weaver, Denyer, Dalgo and Hagan were present. Also present was City Clerk Adrienne Howell. Aldermen McDonnell and City Attorney John Edwards were absent.
Mayor Moran called the meeting to order.
The Special Call Meeting is for the purpose of any and all matters pertaining to the award of the solid waste services contract.
Motion was made by Alderman Gill, seconded by Alderman Hagan and unanimously carried to award the solid waste services contract to Delta Sanitation; authorize the City Attorney to draft the contract and authorize the Mayor to sign based upon the approval of the City Attorney.
Motion was made by Alderman Hagan, seconded by Alderman Weaver and unanimously carried to adjourn the special call meeting.
