MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN
CITY OF OCEAN SPRINGS
SPECIAL CALL MEETING SEPTEMBER 1, 2008
Be it remembered that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ocean Springs met in a Special Call Meeting at City Hall in the City of Ocean Springs at 9:00 a.m. on September 1, 2008. Mayor Pro Tem Denyer presiding, Aldermen Gill, McDonnell, Lloyd, and Hagan were present. Also present was City Clerk Shelly Ferguson. Mayor Moran and Aldermen Weaver and Dalgo were absent.
Mayor Pro Tem Denyer called the meeting to order.
The Special Call Meeting is for the purpose of any and all matters pertaining to the Hurricane Gustav.
Mayor Moran arrives and assumes control of the meeting.
Alderman Weaver arrives at the meeting.
Motion was made by Alderman Lloyd, seconded by Alderman McDonnell and unanimously carried to authorize the Police Chief to invoke curfew if the need arises.
City Hall will not be open on September 2, 2008.
Alderman Dalgo arrives at the meeting.
Motion was made by Alderman Weaver, seconded by Alderman Hagan and unanimously carried to adjourn the special call meeting.
