MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN
CITY OF OCEAN SPRINGS
SPECIAL CALL MEETING JANUARY 22, 2008
Be it remembered that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ocean Springs met in a Special Call Meeting at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art in the City of Ocean Springs at 5:15 p.m. on January 22, 2008. Mayor Pro Tem Weaver presiding, Aldermen McDonnell, Lloyd, Denyer and Dalgo were present. Also present was City Clerk Shelly Ferguson. Mayor Moran and Aldermen Gill, and Hagan were absent.
Mayor Pro Tem Weaver called the meeting to order.
The Special Call Meeting is the purpose of any and all matters pertaining to the Walter Anderson Museum of Art and Community Center Renovations and authorize the hiring of a temporary meter reader, hourly rate at $11.00 (Exhibit 2).
Motion was made by Alderman Denyer, seconded by Alderman Dalgo and unanimously carried to appoint 2 to 3 Aldermen to form a committee along with 2 or 3 people from the Walter Anderson Museum of Art Board of Trustees to discuss the renovations and the permitted uses of the Community Center.
Motion was made by Alderman Dalgo, seconded by Alderman McDonnell and unanimously carried to authorize the hiring of the temporary meter reader, hourly rate of $11.00 (Exhibit 2).
Motion was made by Alderman McDonnell, seconded by Alderman Denyer and unanimously carried to adjourn the special call meeting.
