MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN
CITY OF OCEAN SPRINGS
SPECIAL CALL MEETING APRIL 29, 2008
Be it remembered that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ocean Springs met in a Special Call Meeting at City Hall in the City of Ocean Springs at 5:30 p.m. on April 29, 2008. Mayor Moran presiding, Aldermen Gill, McDonnell, Weaver and Denyer were present. Also present was City Clerk Shelly Ferguson. Aldermen Lloyd, Dalgo and Hagan were absent.
Mayor Moran called the meeting to order.
The Special Call Meeting is for the purpose of any and all matters pertaining to authorizing the Timber Contract and authorizing Burn Plan and Fire Lane Contract.
Motion was made by Alderman McDonnell, seconded by Alderman Denyer and unanimously carried to authorize the Mayor to execute the Timer Contract subject to the modifications presented by the City Attorney and to include the findings to declare surplus property (Exhibit 1).
Motion was made by Alderman Gill, seconded by Alderman McDonnell and unanimously carried to authorize the Mayor to execute the Contract for Burn Plan Preparation (Exhibit 2).
Motion was made by Alderman McDonnell, seconded by Alderman Denyer and unanimously carried to adjourn the special call meeting.
