Office of the Mayor
Welcome to the new web site for the City of Ocean Springs, MS. We’ve created this web site with two primary objectives in mind: 1) making City government more transparent and 2) making City services and information more readily available to residents. We’re also expecting the site to make our City government more efficient and to improve the way we present Ocean Springs to the world.
The core features and content of the site are complete, and we’ll continue to expand and improve the site in the coming months. You’ll find these features ready for use now:
- Descriptions of City departments and services.
- Downloadable versions of most City forms to help you avoid a trip to City Hall or a delay while a form is sent by mail.
- Complete Code of Ordinances. This comprehensive online library gives you quick access to the entire set of ordinances from your home or office computer. Powerful search features make it easy to find what you need.
- Current news and bulletins.
- An Emergency Management message system that will prominently display key information bulletins when necessary. Look for a bright red heading at the upper right corner the site’s pages (enabled only during emergencies).
- Links to useful information on government, hurricane preparedness, hurricane recovery, weather, local attractions, and more.
- City directory with email forms. It’s faster and more comprehensive than the phone book. Set a bookmark in your web browser for convenient access.
- There is also an events calendar.
- Look forward to viewing the Zoning and Adjustments Board and Historical Preservation meetings and agendas on the Links and Resources page in the near future.
We’re eager to hear your comments and suggestions. Please email them here.
