    Temporary Closure of Little Children’s Park for Installation of New Playground Equipment  

    Ocean Springs, MS – The Little Children’s Park will be closed temporarily from Wednesday, April 4, 2018, until Friday, April 6, 2018, at 5:00 pm, in preparation for the installation of 4 new pieces of accessible playground equipment for individuals with wheelchairs and significant mobility impairments.  

    The City of Ocean Springs and Disability Connection have partnered to develop a fully inclusive playground for Ocean Springs. The City of Ocean Springs received a $30,000 play space grant from the National Recreation and Park Association and the Walt Disney Company. The investment supports NRPA and Disney’s combined goal of providing one million kids and families with greater access to play.
