    FAQs for Executive Order 1486 Regarding Tattoo Parlors

     

    FAQs Regarding Governor Tate Reeves’ Executive Order 1486 Effective Immediately for Tattoo Parlors

     

     

    What do Tattoo Parlor need to do to open?

    -Employers must deep clean, disinfect, and sanitize entire tattoo parlor before opening.

    -Employers of tattoo parlors shall conduct a daily screening of all employees at the beginning of their shifts.

    -Employers shall follow social distancing for employees and customers.

    -Every employee must be provided with a cloth mask and required to wear that mask while on duty and receive training on how to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Employees are encouraged to wear a face shield.

    -Customers shall wear a face covering, covering the nose and mouth at all times inside the parlor.

    -All linens shall be stored in an airtight container and all linens/capes shall be changed between each customer.

    -Customers shall be screened for illnesses upon their entry into the tattoo parlor and it shall be posted at the entrance no customers with fever or symptoms is permitted in the tattoo parlor.

     

    -Services shall be provided by appointment only. No walk-in customers are permitted.

     

    -Tattooing and piercing of the mouth and nose area is prohibited.

     

    -Number of customers in the tattoo parlor shall be limited to one customer per employee and work stations must be at least 6 feet apart.
