    j)       Approve Special Event Permit Application for the MS Gulf Coast Billfish Tournament Sponsor Party and Downtown Parade Event sponsored by Off the Hook Fish House to be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; authorize to close Desoto Street from the West entrance of the parking lot on Desoto to Washington Avenue from 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and close Government Street from Washington Avenue to Russell Street from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the discretion of the Police Chief; pending general liability insurance documents (Exhibit 7-j)

    k)     Approve Special Event Permit Application for the Southern Legislative Convention Family Night Event to be held on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Fort Maurepas and Front Beach across from Fort Maurepas; authorize street closure from Washington Avenue to Jackson Avenue from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; pending general liability insurance documents (Exhibit 7-k)

    l)       Approve Special Event Permit Application for the 2nd Annual Veteran’s Day Parade to be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.; pending costs incurred from departments and general liability insurance documents (Exhibit 7-l)

    m)    Authorize to remove Patrolman Timothy Paul Regan from probationary status to full time status effective May 13, 2017 (Exhibit 7-m)

    n)      Authorize retiring Captain Terry Harris to purchase his duty weapon, GLOCK Model 22, Serial #RTN858, for $1.00 (Exhibit 7-n)

    t)       Authorize to transfer Brett Spicer from Street Department Laborer Class C to Drainage Department Laborer Class B; no change to current rate of pay; effective May 17, 2017, one-year probationary period (Exhibit 7-t)

    u)      Authorize to advertise construction for MDOT funding for the Porter Avenue Infrastructure Project – STP-0967-00(001) LPA/105963-701000 pending concurrence from MDOT for both the PS&E package and the CE&I contract (Exhibit 7-u)

    v)     Authorize the Mayor to execute the Gulf of Mexico Alliance (GOMA) Grant Agreement - Planning for Continuity in Ocean Springs (Exhibit 7-v)
