    b)      Discussion on OS Carnival Association, B.P.O.E. 2501, and Krewe Unique organizing a Christmas Parade to benefit children in need at Christmas – Heather Eason (Exhibit 4-b)

    a)      Building insurance renewal update – Scott Lemon

    b)      Adopt an Amendment to the Code of Ordinances for the City of Ocean Springs, Mississippi Amending Chapter 14 to Allow Golf Carts and Low-Speed Vehicles on Certain Roads (Exhibit 5-b)

    c)      Adopt an Amendment to the Code of Ordinances for the City of Ocean Springs, Mississippi Amending Chapter 23 Regarding Water, Sewers, and Sewage Disposal (Exhibit 5-c)

    d)      Discussion on community involvement with immigrants and the Latino population in Ocean Springs – Melinda Medina, Mississippi Immigrants’ Rights Alliance (Exhibit 5-d)

    b)      Ratify a check to The 1699 Historical Society in the amount of $1,000.00 for a Silver Fort Maurepas Sponsorship for the 1699 Weekend of Discovery event on April 27-28, 2018 (Exhibit 6-b)

    c)      Authorize to allow the Boys and Girls Club of Ocean Springs the use of the Ryan Youth Center on Tuesday’s and Friday’s from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for an 8 week period during the summer at a reduced cost of $600.00 pending receipt of a Rental Agreement and General Liability documents (Exhibit 6-c)

    d)      Approve the Special Event Permit Application for the Pack 271 Cub Mobile Race on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 9:00 a.m – 12:00 p.m.; approve road closure on Calhoun Street from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; $300.00 to be paid by event organizer for traffic control pending receipt of General Liability documents (Exhibit 6-d)

    Police Dept.:

    e)      Authorize to declare unit #810 a 2008 Chevy Tahoe, VIN #1GNFC13028R116110, as surplus (of no value to the City); remove from the City’s inventory and donate the vehicle to the School Resource Officer unit of the Ocean Springs School District (Exhibit 6-e)

    f)       Authorize a lateral transfer of Henry Lamb, Street Department Laborer Class C, effective May 2, 2018 to replace the opening left by Kyle Rawahneh; authorize to hire Frank Shockley, Street Department Laborer Class C, effective May 2, 2018; $12.00 hourly wage; one year probationary period; pending successful completion of all pre-employment requirements to fill Austin Gatewood’s position while he is deployed (Exhibit 6-f)

    i)       Accept Code Enforcement Report through April 27, 2018 (Exhibit 6-i)

    j)       Authorize to transfer the City Electrician from the Building Department to the Public Works Department which would include all of the City Electrician’s tools, vehicle, and budget (Exhibit 6-j)

    Parks & Recreation:

    k)      Accept the resignation of Kellie Fellows, Custodian, effective immediately; authorize to begin the process of filling the vacant position (Exhibit 6-k)

    l)       Authorize to hire Tracy Waltman, full time Custodian, effective immediately; $11.00 hourly wage; one year probationary period pending successful completion of all pre-employment requirements (Exhibit 6-l)

    m)   Authorize to advertise for RFP’s for Professional Services for Concession Operations and Sales at the Ocean Springs Sports Complex (Exhibit 6-m)

    n)      Authorize to secure quotes to include a barge up to $15,000.00 for the 4th of July Fireworks Show to be held on July 3rd, 2018 as budgeted (Exhibit 6-n)
