Call for a Special Meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

You are hereby notified that a Special Call Meeting is called to meet at City Hall at 5:30 p.m., Monday, June 21, 2010.
THE OBJECT OF THE MEETING IS AS FOLLOWS:
Any and all matters pertaining to:
1) Authorize employment of Donald J. Martin, Dispatcher, effective June 17, 2010, $11.08 hourly, and six-month probationary period (Exhibit 1)
2) Authorize employment of Joshua Alan Fox, Patrolman, effective June 18, 2010, $12.50 hourly, and one-year probationary period (Exhibit 2)
3) Authorize Mayor to execute Contract with Pride Publishing Group, LLC, in the amount of $2,000.00 funded by the BP grant, for an eight-page tabloid special section for inclusion in the OS Record and the Gazette for public outreach efforts related to the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, pending legal approval (Exhibit 3)
4) Approve Minutes: Special Call Meeting June 10, 2010 (Exhibit 4)
5) Approve Minutes: Recess Meeting June 15, 2010 (Exhibit 5)
6) Approve Minutes: H.R. Committee Meeting June 17, 2010 (Exhibit 6)
7) Update on proposal for ocean booms in the Ocean Springs vicinity
8) Executive Session – Personnel in Fire Department
