Mayor:
a) Authorize Mayor to execute the following Change Orders for Fort Maurepas Park: 1) additional wythe of 4” split face block on the low wall of the performing stage in the amount of $1,913 and funded by FEMA; additional lighting for illumination of the American flag at the Seaman’s Memorial in the amount of $3,441.00 and funded by Tidelands and revise bead board soffits to tongue and grove material to match adjacent material in the amount of $7,925.00 and funded by CDBG (Exhibit 6-a)
b) Authorize to advertise specifications to design and construct sidewalk on the sand of Front Beach for the Front Beach Sidewalk Project – CDBG Round III (Exhibit 6-b)

j) Authorize hourly rate increase to $14.00 per hour for Mandy Lizana due to realignment of records personnel and more job responsibilities (Exhibit 6-j)
k) Authorize employment of Matthew Morvant, as Patrolman, annual salary $26,000.00, one-year probationary period, effective July 8, 2009, and upon graduation from academy increase annual salary to $29,000.00 (Exhibit 6-k)
l) Approve Special Event Permit for Rotary Club of Ocean Springs 5K run on November 6, 2009 (Exhibit 6-l)
m) Ratify Special Event Permit for MS Gulf Coast YCA and the Gulf Coast Running Club for the 29th Annual 2-Mile Health Run/Walk & ¼ Mile Children’s Run on Saturday, July 4th (Exhibit 6-m)

n) Authorize Fire Chief Patrick Williams to purchase his badge and helmet from the City for $1.00 (Exhibit 6-n)
o) Authorize removal of Firefighter Donald Philip Dees from probationary status and placement on full time status, effective July 10, 2009 (Exhibit 6-o)
p) Accept resignation of Firefighter Kevin Sharpe effective July 12, 2009, and authorize to begin the process to fill the vacancy (Exhibit 6-p)
