Mayor:
a) Authorize Mayor to execute Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) entered into by Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), City of Ocean Springs and Jackson County Board of Supervisors for Ocean Springs Road Construction Agreement for alignment to Highway 90 (Exhibit 7-a)
b) Authorize Mayor to execute following Change Orders for Fort Maurepas Park: 1) Rebar and wire mesh in concrete steps, playground structure foundation and splash pad foundation, funding source FEMA, cost to be provided at meeting; substitute 4 Naval Services bollards for ten pipe bollards at the Seaman’s Memorial, no cost change order and additional glulam beans for ceiling fan attachment, Katrina CDBG Program for cost of $816.00 (Exhibit 7-b)
c) Award bid to Valleycrest Landscape Development in the amount of $1,315,195.00 for CDBG –funded Streetscape Project on Washington Avenue and Government Street and authorize to prepare Contract for Board approval (Exhibit 7-c)
d) Authorize Mayor to execute Change Order No. 2 for additional silt fencing at the Public Safety Center site for increase of $2,530.00 funded by currently budgeted 2% tax levy funds (Exhibit 7-d)

j) Authorize Mayor to execute Jackson-George Regional Library System Municipal Contract (Exhibit 7-j)

k) Approve the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Ocean Springs and City of Gautier to purchase equipment and software to enhance the ability of multiple jurisdictions to communicate via voice, data and/or video and adopt resolution (Exhibit 7-k)
l) Authorize employment of Jerald A. Hill, Jr. as Patrolman, annual salary $33,155.20, probationary period of one-year, effective August 1, 2009 (Exhibit 7-l)
m) Approve Special Event Permits for Bicycle Ride, Bridge Appreciation on July 25, 2009 and Walk Across the Bridge to Biloxi Katrina Anniversary on August 29, 2009 (Exhibit 7-m)
Fire Dept.:
n) Authorize employment of Samuel A. Guagliardo as Probationary Firefighter, annual salary $26,000.00, probationary period of one-year, effective July 22, 2009 (Exhibit 7-n)
o) Authorize promotion of Firefighters Tim Heath, Brian Dawkins and Brad Chennault to Fire Lieutenants, annual salary $39,000.00, probationary period of six-months, effective July 22, 2009 (Exhibit 7-o)

p) Authorize Mayor and Title VI Coordinator to execute MDOT Title VI Plan and Title VI Non-Discrimination Agreement, reviewed and approved by City Attorney (Exhibit 7-p)
