       Mayor:

a)      Authorize to advertise for request for qualifications for a bronze sculptor to replicate life size bronze statue of Iberville funded by FEMA and other grants (Exhibit 5-a)

b)      Authorize to use Ray Bellande to research and provide historical characteristics of attire of Iberville (Exhibit 5-b)

c)      Approve Minutes: Regular Meeting January 6, 2009 (Exhibit 5-c)

d)      Approve Minutes: Special Call Meeting January 12, 2009 (Exhibit 5-d)

e)      Approve Minutes: Recess Meeting January 12, 2009 (Exhibit 5-e)

f)       Approve payment: Docket of Claims and spread upon the Minutes (Exhibit 5-f)

g)      Accept Action Report (Exhibit 5-g)

i)       Authorize publishing legal notice for Request for Proposals for the City Depository which will expire March 31, 2009 (Exhibit 5-i)

j)       Authorize adjustment of utility bill for an irrigation meter to three (3) month average usage (Exhibit 5-j)

       Police Dept.:

k)      Authorize Special Event Permit for YMCA 10K Winter Classic and to close necessary streets on Saturday, January 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Exhibit 5-k)

l)       Authorize removal of Unit 807, 2000 Buick LeSabre from Police Department inventory and transfer to Human Resource/Risk Management (Exhibit 5-l)

m)     Authorize to fill vacant firefighter position due to deployment (Exhibit 5-m)

n)      Authorize employment of Murville Alleman, Jr., City Arborist, annual salary $42,000.00, effective January 30, 2009, pending successful completion of all pre-employment requirements (Exhibit 5-n)

o)      Accept Historic Preservation Commissions recommendation to allow construction of privacy fence at 1207 Bowen Avenue (Exhibit 5-o)

         Parks & Leisure Services:

p)      Approve Parks Advisory Minutes: January 14, 2009 (Exhibit 5-p)

q)      Authorize Mayor to execute Contract with Cal-Mar Construction Co., LLC for Alice Street Tennis Court Project pending legal approval (Exhibit 5-q)

r)       Authorize to obtain quotes for lighting repairs at Gay Lemon, Alice Street and Steven Parker ball fields and transfer funds from salaries to capital improvement budget (Exhibit 5-r)
