c)        Authorize internship with PR Administrative Officer in partnership with Ocean Springs High School (Exhibit 7-c)

d)       Authorize Mayor to execute Memorandum of Agreement with Jackson County regarding purchase of property with MEMA Hazardous Mitigation Grant Program funds (Exhibit 7-d)

e)        Authorize Mayor to execute MEMA Hazardous Mitigation Grant Agreement for the Gay Lemon Multi-Purpose Facility (Exhibit 7-e)

f)         Accept Lease Agreement between Ocean Springs Seafood Market, Inc. and the City of Ocean Springs and spread upon the minutes (Exhibit 7-f)

g)       Authorize Mayor to execute Change Order No. 5 in the amount of $600.00  to cut six (6) holes through concrete to install shade structures for Fort Maurepas Park (Exhibit 7-g)

h)       Approve Minutes: Drainage and Infrastructure Minutes August 14, 2009 (Exhibit 7-h)

       City Clerk:

i)         Approve Minutes: Regular Meeting August 4, 2008 (Exhibit 7-i)

j)         Approve Minutes: Recess Meeting August 10, 2009 (Exhibit 7-j)

       Police Dept.:

n)       Accept resignation of Correction Officer Ryan Mathis effective August 10, 2008, with pay out of all vacation and comp time, and authorize beginning the process to fill the vacancy (Exhibit 7-n)

 

 

       Fire Dept.:

o)       Authorize removal of Probationary Firefighter Justin Lopez from one-year probationary status and place on full-time status, effective August 19, 2009, at the rank of Firefighter III, $29,000.00 annual salary (Exhibit 7-o)

       Human Resources/Risk:

p)       Adopt Performance Review for Probationary Employee form, Human Resource Committee concurs (Exhibit 7-p)

       City Engineer:

q)       Authorize Mayor to execute Grant Agreement with the US Department of Justice for the FY09 Recovery Act Edward Bryne Memorial Justice Grant Project/JAG Local Solicitation Award and amend the budget accordingly (Exhibit 7-q)

v)       Accept Historic Preservation Commissions recommendation to approve construction of an addition at 420 Martin Avenue (Exhibit 7-v)

w)      Accept Historic Preservation Commissions recommendation to approve construction of a porch at 1117 Iberville Drive (Exhibit 7-w)

x)        Accept Historic Preservation Commissions recommendation to approve resurfacing of existing parking pad at 219 Washington Avenue (Exhibit 7-x)
