a) Accept recommendations to the Election Commission (Exhibit 5-a):
1.  Appoint Ray Bellande to serve the remainder of Angela Sanders term expiring 06/30/2009
2.  Allow Lamar Bond to serve as an alternate and attend training session
City Clerk:
b) Accept revised General Administrative Clerk Job description (Exhibit 5-b)
c) Accept revised Purchasing/Fixed Assets Agent job description (Exhibit 5-c)

d) Authorize promotion of Battalion Chief Jeffrey Ponson to Deputy Fire Chief, effective September 24, 2007, six months probation and authorize beginning the process to fill the vacancy (Exhibit 5-d)

e) Authorize Mayor to execute one year extension per contract with Delta Sanitation for garbage service (Exhibit 5-e)

g) Authorize investigating the possibility of supplying water and sewer if economically feasible to Grace Church on Ocean Springs Road and Lee Street (Exhibit 5-g)

i) Authorize City sponsored rezoning of six (6) properties: 1101, 1107, 1203, 1209, 1211 and 1213 Government Street located along the north side from C-1 to C-2 (Exhibit 5-i)

j) Authorize increase in hourly rate to $9.00 for P/T Camp Counselor Amber Hilton  (Exhibit 5-j)
