Mayor:
a) Authorize increase in salary for Captain Lionel Cothern while he serves as interim Chief of Police based on an annual salary of $55,745.30 (Exhibit 5-a)
b) Authorize offer of $1,500.00 stipend to an artist to paint a mural on the North wall of the Senior Citizens Center, to be paid $500.00 each from Mayor, Alderman At Large and Alderman Ward II Capital Improvement accounts
c) Accept revised job description of Administrative Assistant to Mayor and City Clerk (Exhibit 5-c)

d) Approve Minutes: Recess Meeting February 12, 2007 (Exhibit 5-d)
e) Approve Minutes: Recess Meeting February 21, 2007 (Exhibit 5-e)

Police Dept.:
h) Authorize employment pending successful completion of all pre-employment requirements of the following: (Exhibit 5-h)
Patrolman 3rd Class
1.  Terry Hines, annual salary $29,000.00, probation six months, effective date March 12, 2007
Patrolman 2nd Class
1.  Eileen Farmer, annual salary $31,000.00, probation six months, effective date March 26, 2007
2.  Lee Leonard, annual salary $31,000.00, probation six months, effective date March 26, 2007
i) Authorize temporary increase in salary of Lieutenant Keith Havard to the level of Captain 3rd Class based on an annual salary of $43,000.00 (Exhibit 5-i)
j) Authorize creation of an additional Traffic Officer position (Exhibit 5-j)
k) Authorize advertising Request for Proposal for a new Time and Attendance system (Exhibit 5-k)
l) Authorize acceptance of fifty-four Panasonic Mobile Date Computers from the City of Aurora, Colorado (Exhibit 5-l)
Fire Dept.:
m) Authorize the purchase of a Manitowoc Ice Machine in the amount of $3,300.00 to be paid by the Building Grant (Exhibit 5-m)
Human Resources/Risk Manager:
n) Authorize creation of a Human Resources/Risk Management/Safety Assistant position at an hourly salary of $13.00 (Exhibit 5-n)
City Engineer:
o) Authorize Mayor to execute Change Order No. 1 for Citywide building repairs due to Hurricane Katrina storm damage (Exhibit 5-o)
Public Works:
p) Authorize employment of Calvin Jackson in the Street Drainage Department, hourly rate $9.67, pending successful completion of all pre-employment requirements (Exhibit 5-p)
q) Authorize removal of James Ladnier from probation status and hourly rate of $10.39 (Exhibit 5-q)
r) Authorize appointment of Review Committee to consist of the Mayor, Public Works Director, City Clerk and City Attorney to make a recommendation for the Drainage Study engineering proposal RFP (Exhibit 5-r)
s) Authorize City Clerk to advertise for bids for decorative street signs on an annual renewable basis (Exhibit 5-s)

t) Accept Tree Committee Report (Exhibit 5-t)
Parks & Leisure Services:
u) Authorize purchase of five LED Scoreboards in the amount of $45,000.00 of which Coca Cola has contributed approximately $35,000.00 with a remaining balance of $10,030.00 (Exhibit 5-u)

v) Authorize Mayor to execute addendum to Wastewater Interlocal Agreement (Exhibit 5-v)
