a) Accept Planning Commissions recommendation to approve preliminary plat of Heron Park located at the south east corner of Pabst and Zettel Roads (Exhibit 4-a)
b) Update on Highway 57 ballfields wetlands permits, bid advertisement and proposed construction schedule (Exhibit 4-b)

6. CONSENT AGENDA
Mayor:
a) Authorize removal of Shelly Ferguson, City Clerk, from probationary status and placement on full time status, effective immediately (Exhibit 6-a)
b) Authorize purchase of three (3) gateway signs recognizing award-winning Greyhound teams (Exhibit 6-b)
c) Adopt Resolution requesting tax relief in the form of millage reductions and valuation information (Exhibit 6-c)
d) Adopt Resolution deeming certain lands as surplus and necessary for wetlands mitigation purposes and to convey said lands to the Land Trust for the Mississippi Coastal Plain for maintenance and care (Exhibit 6-d)
e) Authorize Mayor to apply for Preserve America Designation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (Exhibit 6-e)

Police Dept.:
o) Accept employment of Andrew Lott as Patrolman 2nd Class, annual salary $31,000.00, probation for one-year, effective date June 26, 2008, pending successful completion of all pre-employment qualifications (Exhibit 6-o)
p) Accept resignation of Dennis Haugen, Dispatcher, effective June 23, 2008, and authorize beginning the process to fill the vacancy (Exhibit 6-p)
q) Authorize Mayor to execute appropriate documentation and adopt Resolution to accept grant from Office of Highway Safety for DUI Enforcement (Exhibit 6-q)
Fire Dept.:
r) Accept termination of employment of David Hammond, probationary firefighter, effective immediately and authorize beginning the process to fill the vacancy (Exhibit 6-r)
