a) Accept Recommendation of Selection Committee for Proposals for Engineering Services related to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Round III Hurricane Supplemental funds for Front Beach Sidewalk project (Exhibit 6-a)
b) Authorize advertising for RFQs for professional services for recreational and public safety facilities  (Exhibit 6-b)
c) Authorize Mayor to execute Contracts with Compton Engineering and Bruce Tolar Architects for Engineering and Architectural Services Related to the CDBG-funded Streetscape Project (Exhibit 6-c)
d) Authorize advertising RFPs for Architect Services; CDBG Round III Katrina Supplemental funds for the Fire Relocation Project  (Exhibit 6-d)

n) Authorize employment of Steven A. Dye as a Patrolman 2nd Class, annual $31,000.00,  probation one year, effective January 17, 2008 (Exhibit 6-n)
o) Authorize employment of Leonard M. Ordonez as a Patrolman 3rd Class, annual $29,000.00,  probation one year, effective January 17, 2008, and attend the Police Academy the next available date (Exhibit 6-o)
p) Award bid for outdoor refrigeration system to Polar King International Inc. in the amount of $28,763.60 to be paid by police building grant (Exhibit 6-p)
q) Award bid for forensic video system to Dynamic Technologies, Inc. in the amount of $32,146.00 to be paid by police building grant (Exhibit 6-q)
