c) Strengthen the public notice practices of the City by:  – Alderman Weaver
• Requiring notice for all properties where a request is made for a Planned Urban Development or a
subdivision in addition to zoning changes
• Add a provision whereby a sign on the subject property is erected with information about the
requested change and the date of the Planning Commission meeting
• Require that registered letters be sent to all property owners within 500 feet

4. PUBLIC COMMENT: The public is invited to address the Board for up to 3 minutes.  The Board will take all comments under advisement for potential action at a later date if warranted.

j) Authorize transfer of Firefighter Kevin Sharpe to Fire Training Officer, annual salary $38,000.00, effective April 23, 2007, probation one year and authorize beginning the process to fill the vacancy (Exhibit 5-j)
